Presentation Secondary School, is famous country-wide for its prowess on the basketball court. The school has enjoyed success in winning both league and cup at National level. Several underage Irish internationals have been groomed here and many have gone on to sports scholarships and representing their counties and colleges at other levels. The school has always produced top-quality athletes like Geraldine McCarthy who is currently on a sports scholarship in Villanova, USA following in the footsteps of many world-famous Irish athetes. Many other sports are catered including hunter-trials, tae kwando, judo, badminton, football and swimming at all-levels.
