The school badminton team has been very successful in the past. Only last year they made it the whole way to the All-Ireland championships which were held in Dublin

To get to this stage they firstly had to go to Tralee and compete against the rest of Kerry. They came out first without much difficulty. A few weeks later they were called to compete in the Munster finals which were played against Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

In the Munster finals, they first met limerick and emerged victorious in a tough, competitive contest. In order to reach the All-Ireland championships, they had to beat their next opponents. Unfortunately thing did not go their way and they were beaten by rivals Cork. It was a fun day out for all and a lot was achieved in getting that far.
